Inauguration Day ... President Obama

Well today is the day .... President Elect Obama becomes President Obama .. A man that inspires not only his country but the world .. 

What are some of the challenges he has ... The economy , The Israeli Palestine conflict , A new and stronger Russia , A Deficit that is unbelievably large , And last but not least ... His very own Hype ... there is so much more weight to his burden than there has been for any other president since quite possibly President Lincoln .. 

For me .. I believe that if he is even remotely successful in any one of these challenges .. Than his presidency will be considered a success ..... 

So i have a question for you ... What is the one thing you hope President Obama accomplishes during his presidency ?

Israel fighting Palastine's civil war ??

Shortly after Hamas won the 2006 elections a quasi civil war began ... all though it isn't called one i cant help but believe it is ..

So here is what we need to look at ... how much protesting has there been in the west bank ?? or any of the refugee camp's .. if there has been it hasn't been very boisterous or memorable ...

How much has President Abbas said ... not too much either .. i imagine with Israel's offensive against Hamas that it will make his job much easier in the future .. less Hamas fighters means more Palestinian authority... AUTHORITY .

Now i could be wrong ... and if I am please let me know ... but could this conflict be a blessing in disguise ??

President Abbas gets stronger because of a crippled Hamas
Israel gets respect back after the 2006 war with Hezbollah
Both president Abbas and the Nation of Israel are in stronger places to work out a real peace ..

Israel and the conflict with Hamas

First off we all need to realize and accept that Hamas is a terrorist organization . One that wants to see the end of Israel and the Jewish people.

Second is Israel is not a Utopian Nation ..it's a democracy and like all democracy's it has it's problem's and issues .

So then why am i writing this blog ?.. I am writing for the simple fact that not everyone understands or even wants to understand the conflict.. I believe by writing this that i may be able to help people understand a bit of what is going on .... and help them to decide where there support is deserved.

Point 1

Hamas has been shooting Rockets in to Israel for the last eight years .. even during Cease Fires

Point 2

Hamas was the organization that chose not to continue the latest Cease Fire ... even though they were sending rockets in to Israel with out being retaliated against.

Point 3

Every country has a right to protect themselves against aggression .. If sending Rockets in to towns and city's isn't aggression i don't know what is

Now I know about the disproportionate death's in this war are great ... How ever Hamas hides in residential area's and shoot many of there rockets from the school's and play ground's and surrounding area's .. Thus not all the fault should lay at the feet of Israel ... but at the feet of Hamas ...
